How these calculators handle money
Loan schedules are worked out in whole cents, the way lenders do it: interest is rounded each period and the final payment absorbs the difference, so totals always add up. Growth projections use your stated rate every year; real returns vary, so treat long-range results as a guide to the size of the numbers rather than a forecast.
