How dates are counted
All date calculators use the Gregorian calendar with leap years handled exactly (2000 was a leap year, 1900 was not). Calculations work on calendar dates rather than clock times, so results never shift because of your time zone or a daylight-saving change.
Month arithmetic follows the usual convention: one month after 31 January is the last day of February. The days between dates calculator lets you choose whether to count the end date, and can count weekdays only.
For work time, the hours calculator totals a week of shifts with breaks and overtime; the time calculator adds and subtracts any durations.
