Accessibility
We want every calculator to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Every input has a visible label, and error messages are linked to the field they describe.
- All controls work with a keyboard and show a clear focus outline.
- Results are announced to screen readers when they change.
- Charts are visual summaries; the same numbers are always available as text or in a data table.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements in both light and dark mode.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling, except wide data tables, which scroll inside their own area.
Known limitations
Chart tooltips appear on mouse hover only; the data table next to each chart contains the same information.
Report a barrier
If something doesn’t work for you, email hello@qalkulator.com with the page address and a short description. We aim to respond within five working days.
